My English is really getting better. I (try) to learn the language since 1985, but only recently have I been able to make some real progress. By the time I started high school in 1988, I (study) the language for almost three years.However, I was only able to introduce mylf and utter a few memorized ntences. For a couple more years, I (struggle) through grammar and vocabulary lessons, which made absolutely no difference. Nothing worked, so I decided to study abroad.

■解答有关非谓语动词的步骤:
1.首先要确定填入的是谓语动词还是非谓语动词。
方法:分析句子结构,看空格前是否有连词,看并列连词连接的是什么。
2.确定要填入非谓语动词后,再从两个方面进行分析:support的用法
一是分析非谓语动词和其逻辑主语或其所修饰的词之间的关系来确定用主动式还是被动式;
二是分析非谓语动词和谓语动词之间动作的先后关系确定用一般式、进行式还是完成式等形式。
一、非谓语作主语
1. (save) money now (em) impossible.
2. (learn) a language (require) time and effort.
3. It's no u (talk) a lot without doing anything.
4.It isnecessary for me (make) specific rules and regulations as soon as possible.
5.It is foolish of you (finish) the task in such way.

1.It is/was+adj.+of sb. to do…(形容词表示不定式的重要性,必要性和难易程度等基本情况:important, necessary, easy, natural, common, unusual, rare, impossible, pleasant, meaningful等)
2.It is/was+adj.+for sb. to do…(形容词表示不定式逻辑主语的品质或特征属性:good, kind, nice, polite, honest, modest, wi, bad, careless, lazy等)
3.It is +a+名词+ to do…
