摘要：PURPOSE:To attain the measurement of distance with high accuracy to an unmanned truck by using an ultrasonic wave absorbing member to form the side plates at both the radiation and reception sides of ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION:A transducer 4 for transmission/reception of ultrasonic waves is provided to an unmanned truck main body 1, and the ultrasonic wave signals is procesd by a signal processor 5. Then the distance is calculated to a wall 2 for control of the truck 1. Here an ultrasonic wave absorbing member 7 like sponge, etc. is provided to the side plates of the truck 1 both at the radiation and reception sides of ultrasonic waves. Thus the reflected waves nt from the wall 2 are received by the transducer 4. At the same time, the reflected waves moving back to the side plate of the truck 1 are absorbed by the member 7 and never reflected by the side plate again. Thus the distance measuring accuracy is never deteriorated.
