摘要： An electromagnetic filter extremely narrow band compris a waveguide (1) sized above the cut-off limits and having two or more active ctions (30) each containing a dielectric resonator (6). The number of resonators (6) corresponds to the number of filter poles. The physical dimensions of the waveguide (1) can be further reduced advantageously with a passive coupling element (40), wherein the cross ction of the waveguide (1) is less than that in ctions active (30). Each passive coupling element (40) inductively coupled to adjacent active portions (30). mode suppression rods (10) electrically connect the opposing walls of the waveguide (2, 3) midway between each pair of adjacent dielectric resonators (6). There are described preferred embodiments, wherein the resonators (6) are transverly oriented within the waveguide (1). The electromagnetic energy propagates within the waveguide (1) according to one evanescent guide (TE 10) (TE01delta inside resonators (6)). The dielectric bodies agree (9) are generally aligned along the principal axis of each resonator (6). A number of the filters, with extremely narrow bands, a low inrtion loss and a high Q were constructed successfully.
