If you know where to find a good plastic-free shampoo, can you tell Jeanne Haegele? Last September, the 28-year-old Chicago resident resolved to cut plastics out of her life. The marketing coordinator was concerned about what the chemicals leaching out of some common types of plastic might be doing to her body. She was also worried about the dama
ge all the plastic refu (考题中是rubbish)无意识记忆法was doing to the environment. So she hopped on her bike and rode to the nearest grocery store to e what she could find that didn't include plastic. "I went in and barely bought anything," Haegele says. She did purcha some canned food and a carton of milk--only to discover later that both containers were lined with plastic resin. "Plastic," she says, "just emed like it was in everything."
She's right. Back when Dustin Hoffman received the most famous one-word piece of career advice in cinema history, plastic was well on its way to becoming a staple of American life. The U.S. produced 28 million tons of plastic waste in 2005--27 million tons of which ended up in landfills. Our food and water come wrapped in plastic. It's ud in our phones and our computers, the cars we drive and the planes we ride in. But the infinitely adaptable substance has its dark side. Environmentalists fret about the petroleum needed to make it. Parents worry about the possibility of toxic chemicals making their way from houhold plastic into children's bloodstreams. Which means Haegele isn't the only person trying to cut plastic out of her life--she isn't even the only on
e blogging about this kind of endeavor. But tho who've tried know it's far from easy to go plastic-free. "The things are so ubiquitous that it is practically impossible to avoid coming into contact with them," says Frederick vom Saal, a biologist at the University of Missouri。

62- 66 BACDC 67-71 CCDBB 72-76 ACACB 77-81 CDABB
We resolve to get up earlier each morning, eat less, find more time to play with the children, do a thousand and one jobs about th
e hou, be nice to people we don't' like, drive carefully, and take the dog for a walk every day.
63 选项what why who when 这题正确答案A what。
NCE3-29 Whether we find a joke funny or not largely depends on were we have been brought up. 此外还有“rest on, rely on”都可以表示此意。
一片(地)” NCE3-39 What a relief it was when the boulders suddenly disappeared, giving way to a stretch of plain where the only obstacles were clumps of bushes.
Though the costume consisted only hamburgerof 皮肤美白小妙招a sheet, it was very effective. The class consists of (is compod of) 50 students.
而silghtly(轻微地NCE3-10);roughly(粗略地NCE3-39、粗鲁地NCE3-53 The lawyer ascertained that a policeman had indeed dealt roughly with foreigners on veral occasions.);nearly 几乎 均不合题意。
(Admittedly it was an unusual pie dish, for it was eighteen feet long and six feet wide. It had been purchad by a local authority so that an enormous pie could be baked for an annual fair.) 保存NCE3-3This head must have been found in Classical times and carefully prerved.
NCE3-30 The death of a ghost幽灵之死中出现过,Farm labourers said that they always woke up to find that work had been done overnight.
