factory是什么意思Optical disks containing Level III data are received at the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) from the individual radar sites. The disks are procesd and inventories are produced. As time premits, the data on disk is extracted and stored on the NCDC Heirarchical Data Storage System (HDSS). Data on the HDSS may be requested through the NCDC Home Page. Any Level III data, whether stored on or off the HDSS, may be requested through the standard procedures for ordering data from the NCDC Ur Services Division.
The data are archived on optical disks received from each site in order by date/time.
There are numerous products on the disks with unique formats. The standard products available are listed below and the format type is indicated. Details of the specific formats are provided following this list and are copied from the NWS Interface Control Document for RPG/Associated PUP #2620001.
