此句为祈使句||。keep your desk tidy 是“keep +宾语+宾补”结构||,表⽰“使宾语处于某种状态||。”宾语可以为名词、形容词、代词;宾补可以为副词短语、介词短语、分词短语等||。

2. being curious||,working hard||,为动名词短语作主语||。动词-ing短语作主语时谓语动词要⽤单数||。若两个或两个以上的动词-ing形式作主语||,表⽰两个或两个以上的概念时||,谓语动词⽤复数形式||。如:
Swimming in summer and skating in winter are his greatest pleasure.
Working with you is a pleasure.
3. made her the success是⼀个复合结构||,the success作宾语补⾜语||,表⽰“成功的⼈”||。she is today 是定语从句||,修饰the success||。

1. 此句为主从复合句||,said后的部分直⾄句尾是动词said的宾语从句||,省略了引导词that;同时||,宾语从句中其becau引导原因状语从句||,that引导主语从句||,what 引导宾语从句||。
2. it is ||,其中it是形式主语||,真正的主语是后⾯that引导的主语从句||。

find+宾语+宾语补⾜语(介词短语/副词/形容词/分词/动词不定式)||,如:
I found his room in disorder.
ems是什么The child was found safe and sound.
I suddenly found mylf running down the street.
A whale was found washed up on the shore.
They found him to be charming.
11. It is sometimes difficult to work out the patterns of change.
有时候变化的模式令⼈难以琢磨||。
·基本⽤法
1. 此句中||,it 作形式主语||,句⼦真正的主语是to work out the patterns of change||。当主语部分太长||,
谓语部分太短时||,常常⽤it作形式主语||,⽽将真正的主语后置||,以避免头重脚轻||。结构为:
It+be+adj./n.+真正的主语(从句/to do sth./ doing sth. )+ for/of sb. to do sth.
当表语是good||,u||,a waste||,uful等时||,通常⽤动名词作真正的主语||。

whatever ⽤于引导让步状语从句||,相当于no matter what I do. 有同样⽤法的词||,还
whichever||, whoever||,whomever||,whenever||,wherever||,however||。

wh-ever与no matter wh-的区别:
wh-ever 既可以引导名词性从句||,也可以引导让步状语从句||。区别的⽅法是:去掉wh-ever从句后||,看是否可以构成完整的句⼦||,完整则为让步状语从句||,反之则为名词性从句||。
no matter wh-只能⽤来引导让步状语从句||。
13. I think I would be a good journalist due to my language skills.

1. I would be a good ...是宾语从句||,省略了引导词that||。

⽤||。
2. for/in the last/past+⼀段时间||,⽤现在完成时||。

3. 此句为并列连词and 连接的并列复合句||。前⼀分句的make the job market ,与后⼀分句的make an applicant stand out||,都是使役动词make+复合宾语的结构||。
