课程是学校教育的载体与中介,课程改革历来是社会关注的焦点和核心内容。体育与健康课程作为综合性的文化科学基础课程,是学校课程体系的组成部分,是以发展学生体能,增进学生身心健康为主的一门特殊的课程。本课程的设置,对增强学生体质、提高健康意识,养成终身锻炼的良好习惯、提高全社会总体素质水平具有重要作用。特别是对处于身心发育关键时期的高中生而言,加强学校体育教学工作,提高教学质量、优化教学过程,将会对学生的全面而持续发展有着非常重要的意义。
体育与健康学科的课程改革是影响学校推进素质教育、提高学校教育发展水平的重要因素。
因此,有针对性地对进入首轮课程改革的丹东市普通高中体育与健康教学现状进行分析和探究,将有利于全面了解各级教育行政部门对本学科的重视程度、有利于进一步掌握学校在教学改革中存在的系列问题、有利于提升教师队伍的整体素质水平、有利于促进以校为本的教研制度的深化和推广、提高教育教学质量。通过对首轮丹东市普通高中实施新课程改革情况进行完整的调研、分析,针对新课程实施中所出现的问题,重新进行审视、梳理,并提供有效的整改措施。一方面,为丹东市普通高中进一步全面实施体育与健康课程标准提供理论参考;另一方面,解答学校及体育教师在执行新课标中的疑难问题,努力为学校、教师提供所需的专业支持和服务。同时,因为是辽宁省的首轮普通高中课程课程改革,并没有现成的经验可借鉴、学习,所以,本文确立了对丹东市高中《体育与健康课程标准》实施后体育教学现状与对策的研究为主要研究内容。并以2001年6月颁布的《中共中央国务院关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》为指导思想,以普通高中《体育与健康》课程标准为理论依据,采用问卷调查法、访谈法、文献资料查阅法、网上资料查阅法、数理统计法,对丹东市5所高中300名学生及40名一线体育教师进行问卷调查,并对资深教研人员进行访谈,针对教学中现状进行了分析和探究,完成了体育与健康学科(首轮)两年多实施新课程情况的调研、分析,数据真实、准确。并得出了相应的结论:新课
程的实施,促使丹东市高中体育教学发生了很大的变化。精选了适合高中生终身发展的运动项目;新课程改变了学生的学习方式,强调了学习的过程与方法,引导了学生学会学习;新课程改变了教师的教学策略与行为;新课程引发学校领导对体育与健康学科教学的重视。同时,通过调研也发现:学校教学管理尚未形成体系,缺少新课程评价改革的内在价值追求、对学分制管理缺少相应的理解,还有待于进一步完善;基础性设施、建设欠缺,资金投入不大(不足学校整体资金百分之一),还不能满足现阶段新课程实施的需求;教材在一定程度上仍然是唯一的课程资源,校本课程开发过于狭窄;体育教师队伍相对稳定、师资力量和结构水平,基本上适合新课程实施的要求,但教师的知识和能力结构还有待于进一步提高;教学目标的确立上依然“模糊”,教学中的“点和面”控制得不是很到位;学校领导尚且缺乏运用新的教学理念,对教师的工作现实或潜在的价值做出正确的判断。所以,必须加强一线教师的在岗培训和继续教育工作,促进教师教育观念的转变和知识体系的更新;建立合理制度、完善激励机制,调动教师参与
