Baiyun Mountain
Baiyun Mountain is located at the northern part of the city,which is called the first mountain of Southern Yue It is the ending range of Nan Kun Mountain and made up of around 30 peaks.with beginning from Ma An Ridge in the north,ending at Gui Hummock in the south,and reachign to east of GuangCong Road and west of Mo Dao Keng Road.
Baiyun Mountain is a famous historic attraetion of Guangzhou,wity many nice sceneries,elected as the past and prent Eight Attractions of Guangzhou.Nowadays,it not only prerves historic relic like Nengren Temple,Nine-dragon Spring,but also develop new scenic spots like Peak Park, Da Jin Zhong Rervoir,Lu Hu Lake,the newly built Ming Chun Valley taking 12.5K square meters as a natural birdcage in Oct 1989,the Forest of Steles of Guangzhou collecting esnce of calligraphy and poem in Oct 1994 and the new Yuntai Garden opened in pt 1995.

羊城新8景—云山叠翠
白云山位于广州市北部，是南粤名山之一，由30多座山峰(丘)组成，为南昆山余脉。它北起马鞍岭，南至桂花岗，东界广从公路，西界广州至磨刀坑公路。纵长9.7千米，最宽4.5千米，面积2800公顷。主峰摩星岭高382米，峰峦重叠，溪涧纵横，登高可俯览全市，遥望珠江。每当雨后天晴或暮春时节，山间白云缭绕，蔚为奇观，白云山之名由此得来。 白云山景色秀丽，自古以来就是广州有名的风景胜地。如“蒲涧濂泉”、“白云晚望”、“景泰归僧”等，均被列入古代“羊城八景”。60年代和80年代，白云山分别以“白云松涛”和“云山锦秀”胜景两度补充评为“羊城新八景”之一。如今还保有能仁寺、九龙泉等名胜古迹，并先后开辟了山顶和山北公园，修建了庭园式山庄旅舍、双溪别墅、松涛别院等楼堂馆所，开发了南湖游乐园、黄婆洞水库、明珠楼水库、大金钟水库、麓湖等风景区。1989年10月，山顶鸣春谷建成了一座占地面积1.25万平方米的天然“鸟笼”；1994年10月投资新建了集书法与诗文精华于一炉的广州碑林；1995年9月又建成开放了别具情趣的云云贵花园。这些新景点使白云山风景区更加秀丽多姿。白云山游客终年不断，每年达80余万人次。逢农历9月9日重阳节，登山者多达20余万人。
Eight Attractions of Guangzhou
Chen Jia Ci
Chen Clan Academy also named Chen Jia Ci,is Guangdong flok crftwork muum,which is near to Zhongshan Qi Road Chen Jia Ci subway staion im Li Wan District.
It was built in 1890 with the donations of members from the Chen family who lived in 72 different
counties in the Guangdong province.
Occupying an area of 15000 square meters,the temple has a rectangular main building and compris six courtyards,nine main halls,and nineteen buildings.With an architectural design of traditional Guangdong style,the temple is especially renowned for its beautiful decorations.In the temple,historical figures,legends,and scenes are reprented in many art forms,including wood carving,brick carving,pottety carving,stone carving,lime carving clay sculpture,ash sculpture,
brass and cast iron,grotto,new year painting,and so on.The artistic and historical attributes make the temple an important attraction in Guangzhou.
