Step 1 Review复杂的英文
Flash cards
Review some of the alternative letter sound spellings taught so far, including ph, soft c and soft g.

Step 2 Phonics
>Introduce alternatives: a_e, ay, ai as /ai/
methodical>Remind the children of the three main ways to write the /ai/ sound: ai, ay and a_e.
>Remind the children that the "ay" spelling usually comes at the end of a word.
>Tell them that this is becau the letter T is too shy to go at the end of a word, so its cousin, 'toughly' takes its place.
>The children look at the /ai/ words on their page.
>Point out that the "wh" at the beginning of the word whale makes a /w/ sound.
