What’s the exact human nature? Is it good or evil? For this issue, philosophers of all time have voiced their different opinions. Mencius (371- 289 BC) also developed his philosophy about human nature: first, man’s original nature is good, and cond, man’s original nature becomes evil when his wishes are not fulfilled.
All men, according to Mencius, have a mind which cannot bear to e the suffering of others. For example, if you suddenly e a child about to fall into a well, your first reaction is to save him. You don’t do this for the sake of pleasing the child’s parents or to gain prai from the public. You do it just out of your original good nature. In other words, if you l
