本话题的整体内容是关于服装秀方面的，内容贴近现实生活，便于学生展开讨论。 Section A是本话题的第一个课时的教学内容，以的Jane 和Sarah的对话引出本话题的主要交际用语，要求学生掌握基本的一些服饰知识，了解中国、日本、美国的传统服饰，尤其是加深多中国的唐装、旗袍的认识。
初二阶段的学生正值青春期，特别注意自己的外表与着装打扮，本课时的内容符合学生的特点，学生的学习热情、积极性都会高涨，能积极参与课堂学习，而且本课时的学习内容简单，学生容易掌握。
而本课时由于是要在课题组上研究课的，所以我着重突出了听说教学的设计，没有完全按照往常的教学流程也就是按教材编排的先后顺序授课，我是从班级时装秀入手进行听力训练，之后再由谈论课外时装秀到本课的听说重点内容处理教材的，即：
第一步（Pre-listening）：为听说教学扫清词汇障碍，主要是生词障碍
snd首先以边展示课件图片边要求学生回答问题的方式来教学本课时的生词 model，overcoat，woolen，charmingspace是什么；接下来提出问题（There are many kinds of clothes on the fashion show,what kind of clothes do you know ?）让学生分组讨论并抢答到展板前写下对应的词汇；丑宝
第二步（While Listening）：根据教材内容完成教学任务
Activity 1. Listen to the description of the fashion show in 3A and match the models with their names on Page 98;（Play the tape twice:The first time for the students to listen and match ,the cond time for the students to listen and follow一直英文）
Activity 2.Listen again and fill in the blanks of 3B on Page 98.

Activity 3.Listen to 1a on Page 97 and then answer the questions:
1）Who watched the fashion show last month?
2）How was the fashion show?

第三步（ Post—listening）：口语交际训练
Activity 1. Retell the dialog with your partner.The following information may help you.
Activity 2. Read and number the ntences to make a conversation. Then practice in pairs.
Activity 3. Look at the pictures in 2. Ask and answer in pairs by following the example.
应该说第一步和第二步都还算操作规范，学生也完全可以听懂并把握重要的知识，形成自己的能力的话，那么第三步由于我所设计的听说任务相对较多，而且还把本话题所涉及的重点语法（宾语从句）在本课时做了一定的讲解，让学生费时去理解笔记了，在口语训练这块做得不到位，如果不去专门提及语法而把这部分所花的时间用于口语训练的话就应该可以达到预期的目标了，今后在教学设计中一定要注意按照课时教学重点来设计而且设计好的内容一定要保质保量完成！期待英文
