We gain our knowledge about the world and our life from o sources: from experience and from books. The o resources are both important, but which of them is more important?
Knowledge from books forms a very important part of our knowledge structure. In schools and colleges, we learn knowledge which is fundamental to our future career. We learn knowledge from books in order to make our contributions to this society in the future. A student learns mathematic equations and other scientific knowledge and bee a scientist or engineer. We will be illiterate and ignorant without learning knowledge from books. Moreover, we acquire knowledge about life and the world by reading books, magazines and newspapers. This is also very important as we cannot experience everything all by ourlves. Therefore books are a very important source of knowledge.
On the other hand, we can't learn everything from a book. “Experience is the best teacher” i
toutous an old cliché, but I agree with it. The most important, and sometimes the hardest, lessons we learn in life e from our participation in situations. We learn how to get along with others or how to have lf-respect from our experience, not from books. We cannot learn emotional feelings, such as love and care, through books; they e from our real life experience. Knowledge from experience is also a very important supplement to knowledge from books.
Needless to say both learning sources, books and experience, are very important to us. But in my opinion knowledge from experience is more important, becau without knowledge from experience, it is impossible to get a real understanding of knowledge from books, and how to apply this knowledge to real world situations.

Last week I was invited to visit one stock market to meet one friend who's a STOCKBROKER, he suggested me in the future I can be good stockbroker.
Of cour at first I know nothing aobut this STOCKBROKER, so he nt me one e-mail told me what is stockbroker. -
A stockbroker invests in the stock market for individuals or corporations. Only members o
f the stock exchange can conduct transactions, so whenever individuals or corporations want to buy or ll stocks they must go through a brokerage hou. Stockbrokers often advi and counl their clients on appropriate investments. Brokers explain the workings of the stock exchange to their clients and gather information from them about their needs and financial ability, and then determine the best investments for them. The broker then nds the order out to the floor of the curities exchange by puter or by phone. When the transaction has been made, the broker supplies the client with the price. The buyer pays for the stock and the broker transfers the title of the stock to the client and performs clearing and ttlement procedures. The beginning stockbroker’s first priority is learning the market. One broker said, “First you have to decide whether you have an interest in the stock market. This will determine how well you’ll do. If you’re just interested in making money you won’t get very far.” Stockbrokers spend their time in a fast-paced office, usually working from nine to five, unless they are just starting out or have to meet with clients. The new broker spends many hours on the phone building up a client ba. Sometimes brokers teach financial education class to expo themlves to potential investors who may then bee their clients.
