iet摘要：PURPOSE:To eliminate the discontinue copying, by determining such copy period on a basis of the temperature of a fixing roller and the number of copies that the temperature of the roller is not a prescribed temperature or lower when the next continuous copy is performed under the state when the temperature of the roller is lowered. CONSTITUTION:At the start of the cond continuous copy, the temperature of a fixing roller is detected, and such copy period is determined on a basis of this detected temperature and the number of copies of the cond continuous copy that all copies of the cond continuous copy are obtained without lowering the temperature of the fixing roller to a prescribed temperature or lower. Conquently, the temperature characteristic of the fixing roller is as shown by a curve A in figure, and the copy left unfinished is all completed before the down time. Thus, the discontinuance of copying in the conventional method is eliminated, and the copy time is shortened by a time T3.
