形容词、副词的比较级变化规则:
单音节和少数双音节形容词、副词比较级的构成。
1) 在词尾加-er ：tall — taller smart—smarter short — shorter
high — higher fast --- faster
2) 以不发音的字母e 结尾的，加-r：nice — nicer large — larger
fine — finer late — later
3) 重读闭音节以一个辅音字母结尾的，先双写辅音字母，再加-er。
big — bigger fat — fatter thin — thinner
hot — hotter wet— wetter red--- redder
4) 以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节词，先改y为i，再加-er。
happy—happier early— earlier funny—funnier easy — easier
5) 多音节形容词或副词，前面加more。

1、 “甲 + be + (倍数) + as + 形容词原级 + as + 乙”表示“甲和乙程度相同”或“甲是乙的几倍”。如：汤姆和凯特一样大。 Tom is as old as Kate.

“甲+实意动词 + (倍数) + as + 副词原级 + as + 乙”表示“甲和乙程度相同”或“甲是乙的几倍”。如：汤姆和汤姆跑得一样快。Tom runs as fast as Mike.

4、 “甲+实意动词+(倍数)+副词比较级+than+乙”表示“甲比乙…”或“甲比乙…几倍”。如：I got up earlier than my mother this morning.
He runs three times faster than his brother.
5、“比较级+and+比较级”或“more and more+原级（多音节或部分双音节词）

7、“the+比较级...，the+比较级...”表示“越……，越……”。如：

8、“特殊疑问词(Which/Who)+be+形容词比较级，甲or乙?”。如：

9、名词+介词短语+be+形容词比较级+than+that（tho）+介词短语。
