知识点1：形容词最高级的用法
最高级表示三者或三者以上的人或物进行比较时，用最高级。形容词的最高级前面要加定冠词the，在含有最高级的句子中，常有一个in/of短语来表示比较范围。如：in my class, in China, of the students, of all, of the three等。
知识点2：形容词最高级的变化规则
形容词最高级的变化规则：规则变化以及不规则变化。
1 规则变化
A 单音节 词尾加est：tall-tallest, short-shortest, long- longest
B 单音节以e结尾的只加st：fine-finest, large-largest.
C 以一个元音字母加一个辅音字母结尾并且是重读闭音节的，要双写最后一个辅音字母，再加est：hot-hottest, big-biggest.

D 以 辅音字母加y结尾的单音节单词和部分双音节单词变最高级时，要先把y变为i，再加est：early-earlier, busy-busier.
E 多音节单词或者部分双音节单词在变最高级时没在前面加most：outgoing- most outgoing, difficult-most difficult.
(部分双音节单词的最高级有两种变化方式： clever-cleverest, most clever.)

知识点3 最高级的用法
表示三者或三者以上的人或事物比较时用最高级：
He is (strong) of the three.

表示三者或三者以上的人或事物进行选择时，用which/who is +the+形容词的最高级，+A、B、or C？

be + one of the +最高级+复数名词，表示“最„„的„„之一”。
West Lake is one of (beautiful) places in China.

be + the+序数词+最高级+单数名词+范围，表示“„„是第几个„„的”。
The Yellow River is the cond (long) in China.

解析：形式上为比较级，但是实际表达的是最高级的含义，他比他们班其他任何一个男孩都要高，此时一定注意把自己排除在外，所以选择C。
