Epidemic和Pandemic的词源
词根“-demic” 来⾃希腊语中的“dēmos,” 意为“⼈民”。和它同源的词有，“democratic,” 意为“⼈们的政府”。Epidemic中的“Epi”意为“among” or “upon”，所以epidemic意为“在⼈民当中”。
⽽“Pan” 意思是“all,” 所以pandemic意为“感染所有⼈”。
