If you don’t have a cable box or satellite receiver (AKA t-top box), skip the steps for the ttop box. Connect the coaxial cable from the wall into the RF in connection on the next device. If you’re not connecting a broadcast signal source, disregard the steps involving the t-top box and begin with the steps for the equipment you are connecting.

We recommend this hookup to record or view cable or satellite rvice and watch DVDs or DVR recordings on your TV. Your TV must have an HDMI or DVI input and a composite A/V input. The composite A/V cables are required to record to a DVD or the DVR unit as most units will not record through the HDMI connection.

Note: If your DVD recorder or DVR unit and TV have S-Video jacks, u this connection instead of the yellow composite cable. The S-Video connection provides a higher-quality video image. Connect the red and white audio cables for the sound.
