A. Guideline
1. This inspection protocol should be applied within 1 week after the creation or revision date whichever is later.
2. This inspection protocol is ud in conjunction with the BV generic inspection protocol BVC-S-0003 “Softline Except
Fabric General Inspection”.
3. This protocol will prevail if there is any difference or conflict from the above BV general inspection pr
otocol.
4. All items in this inspection protocol are applied only when applicable. This inspection protocol does not necessarily
include all defects found during inspection.
5. This protocol is applied to textile for bedding or furniture decoration, such as quilt, pillow, sheet, blanket, curtain,
tablecloth, covers, towel, placemats, bath textile, and so on.
6. Check point:
6.1 Shape and size as specified. 6.2 Seam condition as specified. 6.3 Pattern position as specified.
6.4 Defect on weak point, which often rubbed when using. 6.5 Stuffing material quality if have.
6.6 Tuft/ pile’s density and length if have.
6.7 Direction of tuft / pile on furniture and at cover.
7. BV measurement tolerance for home textile products. 30 cm and below: +/- 1 cm +/- ½ inch Over 30 to 60 cm: +/- 2 cm +/- ¾ inch
Over 60 to 200 cm: + 3 cm -2 cm + 1¼ inch - ¾ inch Over 200 cm: + 4 cm -2 cm + 1 ½ inch -¾ inch
