摘要：The invention relates to the technological field of graphitized carbon materials, more particularly to the production of a flexible graphite foil on the basis of thermally expanded graphite, the foil containing amorphous carbon and being characterized by an incread level of hermeticity. A graphite foil having improved characteristics of hermeticity is formed from a composition containing compresd thermally expanded
chairliftgraphite and amorphous carbon, where the composition is produced from intercalated graphite with a varying depth of oxidation of a graphite matrix, and said composition contains amorphous carbon in quantities corresponding to the maximum values of the ratio I/I depending on the depth of oxidation, where I and I are peaks of intensity of scattered radiation in the frequency range of 1500-1630 см and 1305-1395 см, respectively, for graphite and amorphous carbon, measured by the Raman spectroscopy method depending on the depth of oxidation of said intercalated graphite, wherein the maximum magnitude of the ratio I/I for each depth of oxidation is greater than or equal to 0.05.
