Book 2 Unit 3中出现了动词simplify，意为“使简化”，和simple的释义有很明显的联系。其实，simplify就是simple加上后缀-ify组合而成。英语中除了常见的前缀、后缀之外，还有一组有使动意义的词缀——“使意动词”词缀， 这些词缀都有“使……”之意。今天我们就一起来学习一下这些词缀。
一、en-前缀，意为“使处于……状态，使具有……特性；围住”；通常加在名词和形容词前：
