Creative Background
The movie is a screen adaptation of a short novel called 计算机考研The Growing Story of Genius Will Hunting, which was created by Matt Damon in 1992. He was studying in Harvard University at that time.
After finishing this novel, Damon planned to dig further character and potential of the protagonist with his best friend, Ben Affleck. Both of them think that the story is suitable material for a movie, thus they decided to script it. Although they read at least 500 plays every year, there are rare good ones. As new boys in the movie circle, they tried to make appropriate script for themlves. And fortunately, they cooperated with Robin Williams and other famous actors.

Good Will Huntingedt tells the story about a dustman called Will Hunting. Will has a great talent in math, but he is so treasonous. With the help of Lambeau, Sean and his friend Chuckie, Will finally open his mind to people and find himlf and his love.

Students have no passion. But if we change our perspective, we will find that we also have faults. Even in the same environment, everyone lives a different life. choo to change it. Under no circumstances can we lo our passion. On the one hand, we should pervere in our dreams; on the other hand, educators should respect our ideas even though they are sometimes not reasonable enough.
