汉服是汉民族的民族服饰。如你们所知，汉族是中国当下和过去的主体民族，人口超过全国的90%。
HanFu,the traditional garment of the Han Ethnic Group(Han Chine).Han Ethnic Group is the majority of Chine population.Today,90%of Chine people are Han people as same as the ancient time.
据说中国的历史有5000多年，汉族的历史也一样。而汉服的历史会稍短些——4000至5000年之间。
They said Chine history is more than5000years,as same length as Han Ethnic Group’s history,and the HanFu’s history might be a bit shorter--4000-5000years perhaps.
如同你们在欧洲艺术史或考古学中所知道的，服装在欧洲有希腊、罗马、拜占庭、哥特式、巴洛克时期、洛可可时期、维多利亚时期、新古典主义时期等。
If you tried your best to recall the knowledge that you learnt in your European art history or archaeology class,the garment style could be classified into different groups which named by the period it initially came out,like Greek style,Roman style,Baroque style an so on.
同理，汉服的历史，也分为诸多时期，而这基本上可以根据中国的朝代来划分。Just the same,the different stages of development of HanFu also corresponding to every Chine dynasty.
中国的朝代，你可以拿欧洲的王朝来类比，但，毫无疑问，中国的朝代在血统和地域上更稳固不变，每个朝代期间的皇帝都是直系亲属传承、版图也基本不变，这是中华帝国的特色。较长的朝代可以持续300年。parameter是什么意思
Chine dynasty?Well,think about European dynasty,this will help you to understand.But Chine dynasties are more stable in both blood and territory, this is a character of Imperial China.Long dynasty can lasting more than300 years.

You may find a gap between the Ming Dynasty(1368—1644AD.)and the Republic of China(1912-1949AD.),approximate300years,.Yes,it is Qing Dynasty.

During Qing Dynasty(1644-1912AD.),Tatar invaded in,conquered and ruled China,like the barbarian invaded Rome.
Nearly30million Han Chine laid down their lives for fighting for freedom, keeping Han Ethnic style of garment and haircut since the new ruler enforced them to give up their traditions.However,they had to surrender finally and left this painful memory and hope to their descendants.职称英语 报名
The Qing Dynasty’s official garment and haircut style is like this(图片). Something you familiar with ha?The long Pigtail.Yes,this is definitely Tatar style,not Chine style!
这根猪尾巴，直到孙中山领导的革命发生之后才废除。而这身鞑靼人的衣服，并没有立即废除，而是被西化。
This Pigtail was abolished after the revolution which leaded by Sun Yat-n in 1911.However,due to some quite complicated historical reasons,the Tatar garment style had been kept for a long time until China starting her process of modernizing and westernizing.
PRC成立之后这种情况并未得到太大改观，人们更多地追逐经济，而忘了传统。直到10多年之前，中国的普通年轻人们重新拾起了被遗忘多年的传统，开始了

Along with the rapid increasing of economy,more and more modern Chine people are becoming realistic and ignoring the huge value of old traditions.As lost of other cultural heritages,HanFu has been forgotten by its real owners for a long time.Fortunately,about a dozen years ago,some Chine youth started the"Chine Renaissance",hoping to evoke the awearness of
re-knowing and protecting the real Chine traditions.We are the participants and you guys are the witness of history!

汉服是一个庞大的体系，人们在不同场合穿不同的汉服，我们可以把汉服分为3大类：礼服、正式服装和便装。
HanFu has a big and complicated system.People wear different dress on different occasions.
Here,we can roughly divide it into3groups:
(1)Ceremonial Dress；
(2)Formal Dress；
(3)Informal Dress.
汉服不只是一件衣服，汉服的礼服（甚至正式服装）包含了很多“礼”的内涵，有很多文化符号。
“礼”，含义广泛——礼貌、社交礼节、处世之道，乃至良好的社会秩序和宗法制度的秩序。
A HanFu is not just a piece of clothing.Hanfu's Ceremonial dress(even Formal Dress)have connotations of Li,and have some cultural symbols.
礼Li,has extensive and profound meanings--courtesy,social etiquette['etɪket], interpersonal skills,even a nice order of society or order of patriarchal system.
（1）礼服——依照中国的传统，祭祀神灵、祭祀祖先、结婚等都属于礼的范围，需要使用礼服。礼服较宽大，有许多仪式性的符号，而且几千年基本不变。文官制服也属于礼服内涵。
（2）正式服装，政府会议、文化沙龙以及家庭仪式等用此服饰。
（3）常服，是日常服饰，适合日常穿着，变化性大，但也有延续的剪裁方式和审美习惯。
(1)Ceremonial dress,are Ceremonial robe or suites(like Roman toga).In Chine tradition,people should wear Ceremonial dress in worship,sacrifice, ancestor enshrining,wedding,coming-of-age ceremony and so on.The civil officer’s uniform also can be en as a part of the Han Chine ceremonial dress system.People wear different Ceremonial dress on different occasions. Ceremonial dress are usually in loo but elegant design,full of ritual and cultural symbols.Ceremonial dress style changed hardly during the last4000 years.
(2)Formal Dress,are formal robe or suites.Chine wear Formal dress in meeting,salon,in festivals,and some family rituals.
(3)Informal Dress,suitable for daily life,they have variety of forms and evolving quickly,while they still have heritable tailor way and aesthetic custom(habits).
2、从结构上看，
Clothing structure:
（1）汉服有长袍、衣裙和衣裤等结构；walk off
Robe&Suites:
1st type,long robe，or should we say,long garment.Most of them are full body covered;this means their hem can cover your instep.
手机学英语2nd type,Suit,have both upper garment and lower garment.Men’s upper garment is coats while women’s is blou,both men and women’s lower garment are skirt like garment,or trours.
（2）有直领交襟、直领对襟和圆领交襟等结构。
Classify by“opening”and collar style:
1st type,also the main type,is wrapping around the body with the left front(top fly)over the right front(under fly),and as rightward cross collared,which just looks like the letter‘y’when en from the front.
2nd type,is wrapped around the body with the left side over the right too,but is crew-neck cross collared.

值得指出的是，日本的和服是受到从魏晋至宋以来汉服对其时不时的重大影响，甚至继承；而韩国的韩服，则是得到来自中国明朝汉服的巨大继承，并在之后走上了其独有的演化道路。
You may e the Japane kimono and Korean hanbok before in some cartoon films or manga books.I know you must doubting now:why they look such similar to HanFu?
Let me tell you:Japane kimono was influenced by HanFu from time to time during Chine Southern&Northern Dynasties and Song dynasty (420—1279AD.),even inherited some typical elements of HanFu.
And the Hanbok,Korea’s traditional garment,was inherited from HanFu by Ming Dynasty(1368—1644AD.)and began to develop their own style later.
