教学过程
Step 1 Greetings
  Greet the students as usual.

Step 2 Warming up
Show a short video about some students doing volunteer work to help othersand ask the students to report their opinion about volunteer work. Then work in groups to talk about more about it.
Step 3 New words
Show some ntences on the screen and ask the students to guess the meanings of the new words. Have a little competition to look at who is the first one to speak out all the new words correctly. They’d better translate the whole ntence.
1. Plea read the list on the notice board.  请读公告板上的名单。

1a Show the picture in 1a on the screen. And say look at the ways you could help others. Then list other ways. The students try to think by themlves and then discuss with their partners and write the ways one could help others辣妈辣妹主题曲

Step 5 Listening
1b, Tell students to read the ntences in this part. Make sure they know the meanings of the ntences. Then play the recording for the students to listen and number the ways the boy and girl could help others.
Step 6 Pair work
1c, Let students read the conversation in the picture. First act out the conversation with your partner. Then u the information in 1b to make other conversations. Then ask some pairs to act out their conversations. 
Step 7 Prentation 
SaylovableBoys and girlsyou want to help clean up the city park and you want to let more people know it and take part in it. What should you do? Work in groups and try to think of as many ways as possible. Then ask some students to report their ways.
    Step 8 Listening
2a, A group of students are planning a City Park Clean-up Day. Listen and check (√) the things they are going to do to tell people about it. Play the recording for the students to listen and check the pictures. Play the recording again to check the answers.
2b, Let students read the ntences below. Explain some main ntences for the students. Make sure they know what to do. Play the recording for the students to write the correct words in the blanks.

Step 9 Pair work
2c, Tell students to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b. Let one pair to read out their conversation first. Then all the students act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 10 Reading and Role-play
2d, Read the conversations and answer the two questions
① Where’s Helen going to work this summer?
② What did Tom do to help the old people? 
Then ask some students to answer them.
(Answers She’s going to work in an old people’s home. ②Reading the newspaper or just talking to the old people.)
Ask one or two pairs to read the conversation. Then ask the students to practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs to act out the conversation.
Step 11 Homework
