Catenary suspension is a suspension arrangement in which one or more contact lines are suspended on mesnger wire by droppers.The catenary wire is suspended on the cantilever which is one part of the support device by hook end clamp, catenary wire support clamp or suspension pulley.It mainly compod of catenary wire, contact line, dropper and hanging parts. Catenary suspension is a kind of suspension arrangement with better interaction performance.Its structural characteristics are that contact wire is suspended on the catenary wire by droppers,so that the contact line increas the suspension point without increasing poles. By adjusting the length of droppers, the contact line basically keeps the same height to the rail plane in the whole span.It reduces sag of contact line in the span, improves elasticity of the contact line, increas the weight of the overhead contact line/catenary suspension and improves the stability.It can meet the demand of electricity getting when electric locomotive runs at high speed.
1.链形悬挂按照悬挂链数的分类
Catenary suspension is classified according to the number of suspension.
链形悬挂分类方法较多,按悬挂链数的多少可分为单链形、双链形〔又称复链形〕和多链形〔又称三链形〕。目前我国主要采用单链形悬挂。

单链形根据悬挂点处吊弦的形式不同分为简单链形悬挂和弹性
链形悬挂两种。图1—1所示为简单链形悬挂。弹性链形悬挂是在悬挂点两侧的主承力索上固定一段连续辅助绳(或称弹性吊索),此辅助绳通过一根或多根吊弦悬吊接触线的链形悬挂。弹性吊索长度15m左右,安装时,辅助绳两端分别固定在承力索上,吊弦上端用U型线夹同辅助绳连接,下端与接触线定位器相连,当温度变化时,可防止短吊弦产生过大偏斜。

Figure 1-1 Simple catenary suspension 如图1-2所示,弹性吊弦的作用是增加支柱处接触线固定点〔又称定位点〕的弹性,使一个跨距内接触线弹性均匀,有利于机车受电弓取流。

挂类型,得到广泛应用。在高速电气化铁路中,简单链形悬挂适用于单弓取流、跨距缩小、接触线张力加大的接触网系统,比方设计时速350km 的京津城际高速铁路就采用了简单链形悬挂形式。弹性链形悬挂适用于双弓或多弓的高速取流,应使弹性不均匀度尽可能低,目前,弹性链形悬挂型式是高速铁路接触悬挂的主要形式,京沪、武广、石武、郑西等正线都采用了这种形式。
For simple catenary suspension,its structure is simple, cost is cheaper, operation and maintenance experience is rich.Compared with simple catenary suspension,simple catenary suspension with stitch wire has better elastic uniformity, but its construction and inspection is more complicated than that of simple catenary suspension.Both of them can be adapted to requirements of getting electricity for high-speed electrified railway.At prent, the simple catenary suspension is main types ud in Chine electrified railway, which is widely ud in the design of electrified railway with speed less than 2021m
