摘要：PURPOSE:To vary the interval between a center knife simply and correctly by fastening a contiguous knife onto a sleeve installed onto the both sides of the center knife, through a spacer bolt and a rubber ring, so that the position can be adjusted, in a slitter apparatus for a steel band, etc. CONSTITUTION:A pair of sleeves 12 arranged on the both sides of a center knife 2a are fitted 11 onto a shaft 1 by a key, and a contiguous knife 2b is fitted in slidable ways in the axial direction onto the sleeve 12 by a key 13. A rubber ring 14 is fitted similarly onto the sleeve 12 by a key 13, and the interval between the knife is t by installing a spacer bolt 15 between the contiguous knife 2b and the center knife 2a and between the rubber ring 14. With such constitution, the interval between the knife is varied by looning the nut 9 for a fastening bolt 16 and shifting the contiguous nut 2b in the axial direction and varying the dimension of the spacer bolt 15.
