摘要：PURPOSE:To enable the plating of a glass fiber in high adhesively, without necessitating the etching of the fiber with a strong acid, by treating the surface of a glass fiber with a mixed solution of a titanium-bad coupling agent and dibenzonitrile palladium chloride, and reducing the coating layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a glass fiber is treated with a mixed solution of a titanium-bad coupling agent and dibenzonitrile palladium chloride, and the coating layer is reduced to precipitate palladium nucleus on the glass fiber surface. The titanium-bad coupling agent is preferably the one having monoalkoxy group, oxyacetic acid residue, or ethylene glycol residue, or obtained by adding a phosphite to a tetraalkyl titanate. The titanium-bad coupling agent and dibenzonitrile palladium chloride are preferably ud as a homogeneous solution in an organic solvent (e.g. chloroform, trichloroethane, etc.).
