Earlycurriculawerefocudonthestate'sminingindustryanditsimmediatetechnologicalneeds,but,bytheendofthe

1920's,coursofstudyincludedmining,civil,mechanical,electrical,andchemicalengineeringandchemistry,metallurgy,

mathematics,physics,andgeology.
