尤金妮公主

纽卡斯尔大学（NewcastleUniversity），也译作新堡大学或纽卡索尔大学，是一所位于英格兰东北

部泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔的一流研究型大学。该校创建于1834年，是英国历史最悠久的大学之一，创建之初名

为「医学与外科学院」(SchoolofMedicineandSurgery)，随后成为分裂改制前的杜伦大学的另一半部

的学院，在1963年根据国会法案(ActofParliament)与杜伦大学分别成立各自独立的学校，正式全名为

「泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔大学」(UniversityofNewcastleuponTyne)。
