【摘要】Inthispaperanewmethodologyisoutlinedtodetectthedust

LandermissionstoMars,scientistswereabletodeterminethedustloadin
theMartianatmosphereduringdaylightusingspectrallinesoftheSun.
SincethedynamicsofMartianduststormshadbeendeterminedtobe
veryrapidchangingovertimesofhoursandnotdays,itisimperativeto
determinethedustloadduringnighttime,sofutureastronautstoMars
nalsofactorthis
methodology
greatlyimprovesontheclassicalmethodfordeterminingtheextinctionin
theEarth’ssicalmethodusobrvationsofbright
starsfromwhichtheopticaldepth,?total,canthenbededucedfromthe
ssicalmethodsucceedsreasonably
wellathighelevationanglesfromthehorizonbutfailsdramaticallyatlow
determines?totalfromtheslopeofaplotof
