resultfromtherisingtemperaturesandalevelscaudbyglobalwarming.

“Scientistshavebeenwarningusaboutthisfordecades,andunfortunatelyitisall

happeningmuchearlierthanwhattheyhadoriginallypredictedbackinthe80s,”

Wernersaid.

Butclimatechangeskepticstakeissuewiththeargumentthatglobalwarmingisto

mustadapttorisingalevels.

Butthereisstillnoconnsustomandatethereductionofcarbonfuelemissionsto

erwhatitwaslikeacenturyago,

Wernersaysthegovernmentneedstoleadontheissue.

“Yes,theprivatectoriscriticalintermsofinvestment,buttheprivatectorwill

alsotellyou,

themostcriticalthingtoenableustotruly

moveforward,”Wernersaid.
