教学建议对话分析
本篇对话在PartI部分提供给学生四张图片,讲述
奴隶生活的悲惨及要求获得自由,让学生用正确的句子
与图片搭配起来做练习。PartII的对话是两个朋友在
谈论一部新电影,对话用语使用的表达语,如:What’s
on?/What’sitabout?/等表示个人看法的常用语句。
课文建议
教师在课堂教学活动中可使用以下方法:1)采访练
习,教师组织,由一名学生扮演林肯,另一名学生扮演
记者采访他,编演对话。2)教师抓住课文中的时间点,
让学生精读课文,回答不同的时间内,林肯的主要活动,
如:1860,1864,1865等,3)教师可利用扩展资料提供
的知识,给学生展示林肯的图片及它的生平故事,同时
还有其它的相关扩展的内容。教学重点和难点
辨析fightagainst/fightwith/fightfor
fightagainst后接事物名词时意为“为反对……而
斗争”,后接表示人或国家的名词时意为“和(同)……
斗争(战斗)”,此时可与fightwith替换使用,只是
fightagainst语气强些。

fightwith只接表示人或国家的名词,意思等同于
fightagainst,但如果和against出现在同一句子里时
则表示“和……并肩作战”。

fightfor多表示“为……而战”。

shoot表示“射中或射死”某人或某人物,强调射
击的结果

了老虎。
shootat意为“朝或对准某人/物射击”,只强调
射击的动作,不强调射击的结果,如:

五次投中。辨析nomorethan/notmorethan
在数量上进行比较时,nomorethan=only,意为
“仅仅,只有”;notmorethan=atmost,意为“至少,
不超过”。例如:

房间里只有十个人。
Ihavenotmorethan20books。我最多有20本书。
在程度上进行比较时,nomorethan有“两者都不”
之意,表示说话者主观上嫌其少(差、不足、不好)等;
notmorethan含有“不及、不多于”之意。只反映实际
情况,无任何语气。

这本书并不比那本书有趣。
Thisstoryisnotmoreinterestingthanthatone。
这个故事不如那个故事有趣。
nomorethanof可以扩展为no+比较级than。例如:
nobetterthan(=asbadas)比……好不了多少
nomorethan(=asfew/littleas)你……一样穷
noricherthan(=aspooras)像……一样穷
nolargerthan(=assmallas)像……一样小
Heisnohappierthanhisbrother。他并不比他
弟弟更幸福。辨析so。。。that与such。。。that
这两结构都表示“如此……以致于……”,但用法
各有不同。
so+形容词/副词+that(结果状语从句),它可用
too…to或enoughto来表达,如:
Shewassoangrythatshecouldn’tsayaword。
(=Shewastooangrytosayaword。)她气得
一句话都说不出来。
so+形容词+a/an+名词+that从句,如:
Heissocleveraboythateveryonelikeshim。
他如此聪明,大家都喜欢他。
Heissuchacleverboythateveryonelikeshim。

作“脱离,断绝往来”解,常与from连用,表示
“同……脱离关系”,“同……决裂”。

作“爆发”,“突然发生”解。它与happen,
takeplace,comeout等词的用法一样,是不及物动词,
没有被动语态。

1)when指时间,相当于atthattime,在从句中作
时间状语。如:

2)where相当于atthatplace,在从句中作地点状
语。如:

3)先行词是表时间或地点的名词时,关系词的选择
