摘要
18世纪见证了英国社会的没落,而就是在这个世纪产生了一位伟大的讽
刺大师——乔纳森.斯威夫特。经过在英国32年的风风雨雨,他回到了爱尔兰,
以其敏锐的观察力写下了不朽的巨著《格列佛游记》。在这部小说里,斯威夫特
分别描绘了四个通话故事般的小故事,然而当我们反复阅读,细细品味揣摩这些
有趣的故事时,除了对书中怪诞的人物,故事情节觉得十分有趣之外,我们还看
到了18世纪整个英国社会的缩影。整部小说涉及政治,宗教,科学军事等等方
面的事务,斯威夫特通过象征,夸张,反语,对比等修辞手法,将故事叙述的充
满趣味,以此达到一种讽刺的效果,对英国社会进行全面深刻的剖析和抨击。斯
