sacrificetheirlivesforourmostfundamentalrights…

Thensurelywecandoourpartascitizensofthisgreat

democracytoexercithoright…surely,wecangettothe

ersand

blacksmithscouldwinindependencefromanempire…if

immigrantscouldleavebehindeverythingtheyknewforabetter

lifeonourshores…ifwomencouldbedraggedtojailfor

ekingthevote…ifagenerationcoulddefeatadepression,and

definegreatnessforalltime…ifyoungpreachercouldliftusthe

mountaintopwithhisrighteousdream…andifproudAmericans

canbewhotheyareandboldlystandatthealterwithwhothey

love…thensurely,surelywecangiveeveryoneinthiscountrya

einthe

end,morethananythingel,thatisthestoryofthiscountry-the

storyofunwaveringhopegroundedinunyieldingstruggle.

Thatiswhathasmademystory,andBarack’sstory,andso

yallofthis

tonightnotjustasFirstLady…,at

theendoftheday,mymostimportanttitleisstill

“mom-in-chief.”Mydaughtersarestilltheheartofmyheartand

fromfouryearsagoaboutwhetherBarackandIweredoing

thatifItrulywanttoleaveabetterworldformydaughters,and

promi…ifwewanttogivethemthatnoflimitless

possibitythatbeliefthathereinAmerica,thereisalways

somethingbetteroutthereifyou’rewillingtoworkforitthen

wemustworklikeneverbefore…andwemustonceagaincome

togetherandstandtogetherforthemanwecantrusttokeep

movingthisgreatcountryforwardmyhusband,ourpresident,

PresidentBarakObama.
