政府批准，并自己在南京中央大学庆祝教师节。并于1931年6月6日在南京中央大

学举行了第一次庆贺教师节的仪式。但当时的教育部没有批准把这个节日列入学校校

历。尽管这样，后来许多学校的教师仍于6月6日自动举行纪念活动。1939年，当

时的教育部规定以每年的8月27日孔子诞辰纪念日为教师节，并颁布了《教师节纪

念暂行办法》，但后来未实行。

每年9月10日为教师节。定教师节为9月10日，是考虑到新学年开始，学校要有新

的气象，师生要有新的感觉。新生入学伊饱即开始尊师重教活动，可以给教师教好、

学生学好创造良好的气氛。同时，9月份全国性节日少，便于各方面集中时间组织活
