conartist:con是confidence的缩写，confidenceartist或者confidenceman指的就

是诈骗犯。这个单词最早出现在对一个叫做WilliamThompson的审判中。Thompson常常和

陌生人搭讪，直到骗取他们信任，接着就问他们是否信任他并把他们的手表交给他(ifthey

hadtheconfidencetolendhimtheirwatches)，之后他就拿着手表走人。后来是有一

个之前的受害者在路上认出了他，他才被绳之以法的。

scam:和con一样，都表示骗局，诈骗的意思。另外还可以说：swindle,grift,bunko或
