directlyabovetheopeninginthefixationelementintowhichtherodistobeplaced,isnecessaryor

Variousattemptsinthepriorarthavebeenmadeinprovidingrodreducinginstruments,suchas

.5,720,751toJackson;eachofwhichisincorporatedhereinbyreferenceinitntirety.

However,needsremainintheindustryforrodreducinginstrumentsthatcanbeudefficiently,

safelyandcurelyinrodreductionproceduresandforrodreductioninstrumentsthatcanbeud

inbothminimallyinvasiveandopensurgicalapproachestothesiteofrodattachment.

SUMMARYOFTHEINVENTIONTheprentinventionprovidesinstrumentationforrodreduction

trumentliminatethe

needfordirectapplicationofmanualforcetoarodtopositionitinadesiredlocationrelativetoa

trumentscanalsofacilitateattachmentoftherodtothefastener,andhave

applicationinbothopensurgicalproceduresandminimallyinvasivesurgicalprocedures.

Aspects,objects,advantages,features,embodiments,andbenefitsoftheprentinventionwillbe

evidentuponconsiderationofthefollowingwrittendescriptionandtheaccompanyingfigures,which

illustrateembodimentsoftheinvention.
