第三单元复习一：英语时间表达

一、英语时间通常用以下两种方式表达：

1.直接表达法：

1）整点表达法：用“基数词+o'clock”来表示整点，“o'clock”也可省

略不写。

2）非整点表达法：用“基数词按钟点+分钟”的顺序直接写出时间。

2•间接表达法

1）用“分钟+past+钟点”来表示：（“past”是介词，意思是“过”）

条件：分钟数少于或等于30分。

2）用“（60分钟—原分钟数）+to+（原钟点数+1）”来表示：（“to”是介

词，意思是“差”）

条件：原分钟数大于30分。

2:50tentothree（三点差十分）

7:42eighteentoeight（八点差十八分）

3）当分钟数为15时，可用aquarter（一刻钟）表示。

4）当分钟数为30时，可用half（半）表示。

5:30halfpastfive1:30halfpastone

注：在直接表达法中，十五分钟不能用aquarter表示，只能用基数词fifteen表示，

三十分钟不能用half表示，只能用基数词thirty来表示）

2.若想表明所说时间是上午，只需在

时间后加上am

如如:It'sixthirtyam.（现在是早上六点三十分）

若想表达下午，只需在时间后加上pm

如如:It'sixthirtypm.（现在是下午六点三十分）

3.如果表达的时间不是很精确，可以时间前加about（大约）

如口：It'saboutveno.（c现在大约七点钟）

4•在时间前面应用介词“at”表示“在”

如:Igotoschoolatventen.我在七点十分上学）

5.对时刻提问时，疑问词一般用：whattime。

如:-Whattimeisitnow?现在几点？

-It'stwelvefifteen.现在十二点十五分。

女口：-What'sthetimeow?现在几点？

-It'qsarterpasttwelve.现在十二点十五分。
