分数
分数是fraction,读法有一定的规则，分子为基数词，分母为序数词。分子为1的时候可以读为a或one .
one-fifth/a fifth
分子（numeratror）基数词（cardinal number）,分母（denominator）是序数词（ordinal number）.
three-venths
分子的数字为2以上的时候，分母的序数词要加-s,变成复数形式。2/3为two-thirds
one half/a half
one-fourth/a fourth/one-quarter/aquarter ven and three-eighths
带分数（mixed fraction）要先读基数词，后面要加and .
three hundred fifteen over one thousand ven hundred fifty-four.
分数还有一种念法，因为复杂的分数序数词较难读，所以分子、分母都读成基数词，中间以（over）连接.
加法与减法
加法 addition
3+5=8 Three plus five equals/is/makes eight.
减法 subtraction
9-3=6 Nine minus three equals six.
398-241=157 three hundred ninety-eight minus two hundred forty-one equals/is one hundred fifty-ven
出现负数！ Oh,It came out megative!
4-5.6=-1.6 Four minus five point six equals negative (minus) one point six .
乘法与除法
乘法 multiplication
Six multiplied by ven equals forty-two.
除法 division
Fifteen divided by three equals five.
Two-venths divided by two-thirds equals three-venths.
出现余数！Oh! there's a remainder!
Ten divided by three equals three with remainder of one.
大数目和小数目
和外国人对话时，数字是最令人感到困扰的。因为英语的数字单位并没有中文"万"和"亿"。
523，000 five hundred and twenty-four thousand
英文中并没"万"这个单位，1万的话以10 thousand 来表示, hundred 后面的and,在美国通常被省略。
12，000，000 twelve million
100万为million
489,000,000 four hundred eighty-nine million
英语中并没有"亿"这个单位，1亿要说成100 million.
489,000,000,000 forty-eight billion
10亿的单位为billion但是美国才是如此表示，英国的billion 一般指"万亿"。要特别注意。
523，000，000，000，000 five hundred twenty-three trillion
"兆"为trillion,英语在"千"之后终于有个单位表示和中文一样了！
