越秀公园

越秀公园是广州最早的公园之一,也是一座规模较大的综合

性公园。早在西汉南越国时,越秀山

便是古人登临胜地。如今,越秀公园冈峦起伏,树木苍翠,

四季如春,处处充满着亚热带地区特有的勃勃生机和绿色情

调。公园保存了各种历史文物和遗迹,

是自然风光与人文景观和谐结合的典范,是中外游客的游览

胜地。

流花湖公园

位于流花路附近的流花桥和流花湖,是当年南汉统治者修筑

的芳春园。宫女们梳妆时掷花于湖中,

落英缤纷逐水随波才得此名。明代湖面日渐缩小,

淤塞成污水塘。1958年,广州市政府组织全市人民义务劳动,

将它改为人工湖公园。公园湖心中

有一小岛为鹭鸟保护基地,面积约3000平方米,

实行封闭式保护,岛上鹭鸟逾万,成为闹市中不可多得的"小

鸟

天堂"。

东山湖公园

园内种植了稀美莉、红铁、杜鹃、白蝴蝶等一批植物。

广州动物园
