形容词和副词的比较级和最高级

1.形容词比较级和最高级的构成:

单音节形容词和以y结尾的双音节形容词,一般词尾加-er或-est.

a.一般在词尾直接加-er或-est.

long→longer→longestshort→shorter→shortest

b.以不发音的字母e结尾的单词,一般词尾直接加-r或-st

nice→nicer→nicestlarge→larger→largest

c.以"辅音字母+y"结尾的词,把y变为i,加-er或-est.

heavy→heavier→heaviesthappy→happier→happiest

d.末尾只有一个辅音字母,前面只有一个元音字母的的重读闭音节,双

写末尾辅音字母,加-er或-est.

不以y结尾的双音节形容词和多音节形容词,一般在前加more

或most.

副词的比较级和最高级,一般在前加more或most.

注意:个别副词例外,比较级和最高级加-er或-est.
