smile.dk在2008年复出演出虽然她们的组合名称Smile DK中含有DK两个字母（丹麦的简写），但M alin,Veronica及前成员Nina都不是丹麦人，她们全都来自瑞典。她们的专辑在丹麦发行，所以加上了.DK的后辍。

Veronica和Nina最初组建了名为Smile的乐队并且在1998年发行了她们的第一张专辑《Smile》。《Smile》受到了广泛的关注，特别是在日本。专辑中的一些歌曲被EMI收录，其中的Butterfly最终经Konami授权成为第一代跳舞机舞曲。从那以后，Butterfly成为跳舞机历史上最受欢迎的歌曲。

在第一张专辑之后，Nina离开了Smile开始单飞，Malin取代了Nina加入到Smile。乐队名称也从Smile变成了Smile DK.

她们第二张专辑中的Kissy Kissy也成为跳舞机游戏EZ2Dancer中的经典。

2008年组合成员Malin离队，新组合成员Hanna加入，SMILE DK现成员为Hanna和Veronica。在2008年在美国加州首次与新队员登台演出。

2013年Hanna离队，再次有新成员Cecilia加入.
