2. How often? 和How long?

1） How often do you watch TV? 你多长时间看一次电视？

回答可以是：

Every day.（每天） / Once a week.（一周一次） / Three times a week.（一周三次） / Often.（经常） /

2）How long do you usually watch TV? 你通常看多长时间电视？

回答可以是：

About one hour.（大约一个小时） / Three hours.（三个小时） / Thirty minutes.（三十分钟） /

从以上例句中可以看出：

how often 询问的是频率“多久一次”，回答时用表示频率的词来作答。

how long 询问的是时间长短“多长时间，多久”，回答时通常用for + 段时间或者since + 时间点来作答。另外，how long还可以询问物体的长度有“多长”。

3. 英语中表次数的用法

once一次, twice两次, three times三次, four times四次 …

可以看出表示次数的词，除了“一次，两次”特殊外，后面的次数都是“基数词+times”构成。
