Cap1027s6MembersoftheCorporation

TheCorporationshallconsistofthefollowingmembers-

(a)allministersandpreachersforthetimebeingoftheHopYatChurch;

(b)alldeaconsanddeaconessesforthetimebeingoftheHopYatChurch;

(c)thechairman,vice-chairman,andsecretaryforthetimebeingofthe

CouncilofeachUnitChurch;and

(d)representativesforthetimebeingfromtheCouncilofeachUnitChurch,

whichshallbeentitledtohaveoneelectedmemberinrespectofevery

100adult-membersregisteredwithsuchUnitChurchtorepresentitinthe

Corporation:providedthatthemaximumnumberoftherepresentativesof

eachUnitChurchshallnotexceed5.

EachUnitChurchshallhaveaCouncil,andtheorganization,powersand

dutiesofsuchCouncilshallbeprescribedbytheconstitutionforthe

timebeingoftheHopYatChurch.

Cap1027s8ExistingconstitutiontobeconstitutionofCorporation

(1)TheexistingconstitutionoftheHopYatChurchshallbethe

constitutionoftheCorporation.

(2)Amendmentstotheconstitutionshallbeproposedinwritingtothe

CouncilofRepresentativesby2deaconsand3electedmembersofoneor

moreCouncilsoftheUnitChurchesorby10votingmembersoftheChurch,

andnoamendmentsshallbemadeunlesssuchamendmentoramendmentsshall

havebeenpassedbythree-fourthsofthemembersoftheCouncilof

Representativespresentatthemeetingconvenedforthepurpose.

(3)Anysuchamendmentshallnotcomeintooperationuntilithasbeen

publishedintheChurchbulletin4consecutiveweeksfortheinformation

ofthemembersandnoobjectiontheretohasbeenraisedwithin30days

fromthefirstpublication.

(4)Theconstitutionshallnotbeamendedwithouttheconsentinwriting

oftheRegistrarofCompanies.

(1)TheCorporationshallforwardtotheRegistrarofCompaniesfor

registrationthefollowing-

(a)noticeoftheaddressoftheregisteredofficeoftheCorporationand

anychangethereto;

(b)acopyoftheconstitutionandanyamendmentthereto,certifiedas

correctbytheChairmanorVice-ChairmanoftheCorporation;

(c)alistofthenamesandaddressesofthemembersforthetimebeing

oftheCorporationandanychangetherein,certifiedascorrectbythe

ChairmanorVice-ChairmanoftheCorporation;and

(d)thenameandaddressofanypersonappointedundersection10tosign

deeds,documentsandotherinstruments,andanychangethereincertified

ascorrectbytheChairmanorVice-ChairmanoftheCorporation.(2)

otificationinaccordancewithsubsection(1)shallbemadewithin28

daysofthecommencementofthisOrdinanceorwithin28daysofany

amendment,changeorappointmentasthecasemaybe.

(3)Anypersonmayinspectanyofthedocumentsregisteredunderthis

sectionuponpaymentofsuchfeeasmaybeprescribedundersection305

oftheCompaniesOrdinance(Cap32)fortheinspectionofadocument.

(4)TheCorporationshallpaysuchfeesforregisteringanydocumentwith

anypublicregistryasmaybeprescribedundersection304oftheCompanies

Ordinance(Cap32)fortheregistrationofadocumentwiththeRegistrar

ofCompanies.(AmendedL..31of1968)

(1)ThesealoftheCorporationshallnotbeaffixedtoanydeed,document

orinstrumentexceptbytheauthorityofaresolutionoftheCorporation.

(2)Alldeeds,documentsandotherinstrumentsrequiringthesealofthe

Corporationshallbesignedbyany3ofthe6membersoftheProperties

ManagementCommitteeoftheCorporationandsuchsigningshallbetaken

assufficientevidenceoftheduesealingofsuchdeeds,documentsand

otherinstruments.
